Zach Erdem is a restaurateur, hotelier and entrepreneur based in the United States. He is the owner and operator of several successful restaurants, nightclubs and boutique hotels in the Hamptons and on the North Fork of Long Island, New York, including 75 Main, Harpoon House, Zey Hotel in Greenport, Zerdem Restaurant, the Pop-Up by Rocco DiSpirito at Blu Mar, and Main Room Nightclub.
Erdem was born in Erzincan, Turkey. He worked as a shepherd from the age of 11 to 17, but always dreamed of a different life. He eventually moved to New York City and immigrated to the United States in 2002. He began his career in the hospitality industry as a dishwasher, busser, server, bartender and manager in New York City, Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles before ultimately discovering the Hamptons and making it his home.
In 2010, Erdem opened his flagship restaurant, 75 Main in Southampton. The restaurant quickly gained popularity among locals, visitors and celebrities, and has since become a fixture of the Hamptons dining and nightlife scene. Today 75 Main is known as the most-booked restaurant in Long Island and is widely recognized as the #2 celebrity sighting restaurant in America, attracting high-profile guests from around the world.
Building on the success of 75 Main, Erdem has opened and operated several other restaurants and nightlife venues in the Hamptons, including Blu Mar, AM Southampton, Kozu, Summer House and the boutique Harpoon House hotel. Expanding to the North Fork, he created Zey Hotel in Greenport, a stylish boutique property in the heart of the village, along with Zerdem Restaurant, a seasonal Mediterranean restaurant and lounge open from May to November.
Erdem’s world of restaurants, hotels and clubs is featured in his hit reality television series “Serving the Hamptons,” now streaming on HBO Max. The show follows Zach, his team and his guests, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the energy, drama and glamour of his hospitality empire in Southampton and Greenport.
Outside of his work in hospitality, Erdem is involved in charitable and philanthropic endeavors and has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including being named to Long Island Business News’ “40 Under 40” list.
